We are incredibly excited about our staff for Worldview Academy’s 2024 leadership camps.

We would love for you to consider applying to join our team next summer. Every summer Worldview Academy Leadership Camp trains thousands of students to think and live like Christ. And we want you to be a part of the team! 

We’re looking for college-aged students to serve as Christ-centered, “kid loving machines.” As a discipleship staff member, you’ll preach the gospel to every student with words, and even more with actions. You’ll build strong relationships, ask tough questions, and apply the lessons taught in lectures directly to the students’ lives. You’ll invest your life in theirs. The demands are high and the responsibilities are many, but the rewards are eternal.

Job Description

As a Worldview Discipleship Staff Member your responsibilities will include the following:

With Your Students

  • model Christ-like character

  • love each one by building relationships, mentoring, encouraging, and serving

  • lead small group discussions in order to help students digest daily lectures on an age-appropriate level

  • encourage their participation in all camp activities

  • take responsibility for their safety at all times

  • be available and sensitive to their needs

With the Rest of Camp

  • attend classes as assigned

  • lead and participate in athletic activities

  • facilitate leadership initiatives

  • participate in staff training prior to the summer season

  • take responsibility for the condition of the equipment and facilities you are using

With Yourself

  • maintain a daily quiet time

  • participate in staff Bible studies

  • participate in all staff meetings

  • participate in all camp activities

  • be accountable to camp policies, each other and those in authority

FAQs

  • A Worldview Academy staff member is a Christ-centered, “kid loving machine.” He or she loves teaching students to think and live biblically in every area of life, and gladly puts students’ needs ahead of his or her own. Worldview staff members also love spending lots of time with students; on the sports field, in the dorm, or over a meal. Worldview staff invest their lives in the lives of students and each other. This investment isn’t easy, but well worth it.

  • All staff are required to pay for your travel expenses to get to staff training and to get home at the end of your time of service. Worldview Academy will cover your travel expenses between camps. We encourage our staff to raise financial support to help cover the expenses of this travel and will provide you with materials to help you do this upon your request.

  • No. You just need to be willing to serve and invest in Worldview Academy students.

  • We will send all references a form to fill out via email. We may also call your references when we believe it is necessary. You should tell them to keep an eye on their email and that they may receive a call from someone at Worldview Academy in the coming months.

  • Final notification letters will be mailed by March 29, 2024.
