Special FAQ for Northern Kentucky Camp

  • Yes! Included in the schedule for the week is everything you would find at a Worldview Academy Leadership in other locations around the country. We will have a full week of interactive sessions focusing on areas of apologetics, biblical worldview, and servant leadership. We will also have a leadership practicum and evangelism practicum built into the schedule as well as small groups, free time, daily quiet times, and more!

  • We will be staying on campus at Northern Kentucky University and will wake up and have quiet times in the morning after breakfast before heading to our first session of the day. After that session we will load up in buses and head to the Creation Museum (Monday) or the Ark Encounter (Tuesday) and spend most of the day at those locations before returning to campus in the evening for more sessions, some free time, and small group sessions.

While we are on site at the two exhibits we will spend significant time engaging with the material presented, and we will hear special sessions taught by Ken Ham and Georgia Purdom. Also as part of our day we will have an additional session taught by a Worldview Academy faculty member on site and small group time (just like we typically have at a Worldview Academy Leadership Camp).

  • We always love having parents visit us at camp to see what your student is experiencing. We will continue to offer live streamed sessions and other materials for parents to capture some of what students have heard during the week. We will not have the means for parents to join the students on site at the Creation Museum or the Ark Encounter as their day will be programmed from arrival to departure at those two locations.

If your family is traveling from out of town in order to attend this special partnership camp, we would highly encourage you to spend time at each encounter as a family.

  • We will have breakfasts on site at our college campus every morning in addition to all meals on Wednesday and Thursday of the week. On Monday and Tuesday we will have lunch at either the Creation Museum or the Ark Encounter and dinner on the buses back to campus. In any case, we will absolutely work to accommodate any food allergies. If you have specific questions or concerns, please contact our Camp Director, Mike Tiland, to discuss. His cell phone number is (864) 483-7121.

  • Our staff team will have close oversight over the students from arrival to departure at each of these two locations. There will general public attending the experiences as well, but we have worked closely with Answers in Genesis to craft our schedule to allow the students to maximize their experiences. Our director team and faculty team will also be on site each day as well to provide additional oversight and help.
